JD Vance says major technology firms still ‘a lot in the announcement’ for conservative censorship: ‘face the consequences’

Vice President JD Vance said that large technology companies remain “much in the announcement” to respect the constitutional rights of free speech, despite the support shown for the new Silicon Valley Titans administration.

Vance told CBS “confronts the nation on Sunday that President Trump is prepared to act if technology giants continue practices that conservatives perceive as censorship.

“We essentially believe that great technology has a lot of power,” Vance said.

“They can either respect the constitutional rights of Americans, to stop being involved in censorship or face the consequences under Donald Trump’s leadership.”

During the interview, Vance also clashed with “Face the Nation” moderator Margaret Brennan on Trump’s decision to stop a refugee program that banned hundreds of Afghan from reaching the US.
