Matches creators at the US capital say the liberals do not accept President Donald Trump’s supporters so far, and are now careful about Tesla owners.
Political polarization, especially among young men and women, has become an internationally recognized phenomenon in recent years.
An example from pop culture came last month when the stars of “Love is Blind” Sara Carton and Ben Mezzinga did not marry during the season final because Carton had reservations about the religious and political views of Mezzenga, including Black Lives Matter.
Axios’ Mimi Montgomery reported that political polarization feels acutely in the Washington area, DC, as government officials and political parties operates.
“Just just so polarizing,” told Axios matchtmaker based in DMV Susan Trombetti.
“It has always been, but now it is in steroids.”
A new aspect the driving tension in the world of meeting is the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) that rests government employees in the Washington area, DC.
A new match in many BIOS app meetings, singles DC is said to say to Axios, has been “rested by Doge”.
The creator of the DC -based match, Kat MarkIwicz spoke about current polarization, pointing out that many clients quickly state that they will never meet someone from the opposite policy before she can even ask.
The problem has worsened with the new administration, especially with the involvement of the founder of Tesla Elon Musk in Doge.
“Four years ago, five years ago, I was hearing,” Oh, I couldn’t meet a trump supporter, “MarkIwicz Axios told.
“Now it’s like,” I can’t meet someone if they run a tesla. “”
Okcupid, a popular meeting application known for analyzing trends among their users, gave Axios statistics that confirm how the game game has changed.

Representatives of the application claimed that before last summer, 45% of the DC application users said they wanted to match a member of their political party.
This number increased to 51% after Trump was elected in November and then to 58% after the inauguration day.
Trump’s supporters are reported to be behaving differently now than those during Trump’s first term.
“Despite the tension, more Washingtonian are openly expressing their conservative views on meeting applications, users say Axios – a departure from Trump’s first term, when some conservatives rank their political affiliation as ‘moderate’ in their BIOS,” Montgomery Axios said.
A DC resident reported to see numerous photos in meetings of people’s meetings posing with the president or appearing in his Oval office.
“Interesting how the new administration has allowed people to feel more open to what they believe in this city,” she said.
Fox News’ Hanna Panreck contributed to this report.
