For President Trump’s public embrace of President Trump and his visible transformation into “Maga Mark” has terrified employees and leaders in the social media giant, according to a report.
Zuckerberg caused an internal reaction wave at the parent company on Facebook and Instagram after a controversial appearance at Podcast “Joe Rogan Experience” in January – in which the increasing competitor of MMA said the corporate America had been “neutral cultural” and jobs needed more “masculine energy”, according to financial times.
Just days after controversial comments, a small number of executives have worked the courage to speak at a leading meeting in the company’s Menlo Park, Calif, Selia, reported.
“He essentially said,” If you don’t like, harsh sh-t “,” a person told Knowledge of the FT conversation.
Zuckerberg, who, from Friday, had the second highest net value in the world with a wealth estimated by the Bloomberg billion in $ 245 billion, had also praised mixed-military arts as a tool for men’s bonding and claimed that aggression in men could be a force for good.
“There is this crazy thing about wrestling,” he told Rogan, a former MMA commentator.
“Likes like you, if you go into a fight with someone at work, you will probably be fired.
“In many corporate worlds, I think there is this bias where you think aggression or intensity is essentially bad,” Zuckerberg continued. “But it’s not. I really think it’s useful. You want to be able to channel that energy.”
Zuckerberg’s transformation from Silicon Valley Liberal into a Trump -friendly public figure has become a defining story of his leadership.
After being seen as a quiet, hooded technocrat, he began to appear without a shirt in MMA training videos, sporty golden chains, expensive watches and made regular appearances in Podcast with mostly male, anti-Woke audiences.
Interview Rogan added a growing list of movements that critics see as the approximation of Zuckerberg and the company-with right-wing policy. His public thanks to Trump and the return of content moderation teams have prompted only those concerns, according to the report.
But those who know Zuckerberg insisted on told FT that the Meta boss is simply telling the public one side of him that they have long been known in private.
“When he was 19, I think he had an idea in his head what a CEO should be like and he was trying to be, especially in public,” Meta technology official Andrew Bosworth said, adding that people are now seeing “authentic Zuckerberg”.
“The public is seeing it more than we have, inside, from the beginning,” Bosworth said.
A Meta spokesman refused to comment.
Zuckerberg’s newly discovered character is receiving attention at a time when he has placed his company on a war base in the ultra-competitive race to win the market share in artificial intelligence.
Last week, Meta won the starting rate for $ 14.3 billion-a deal that gives Zuckerberg a 49% non-voter as part of its push to close the gap with Openai and Google in the gun race.
The agreement provides the drawback of Meta to Scale’s infrastructure and talent, including its founder Alexandr Wang, who now runs the new “Superintelligence” unit.
The move has caused reactions from rivals, with Openai and Google cutting links with stairs over conflict of interest concerns.
As Meta is betting – planning to spend $ 65 billion a year on it by 2025 – the strategy carries risks, including mounting costs, regulatory control and difficulty keeping high engineers.
