Fox News Channel sees 109% increase in YouTube’s viewing, trusting MSNBC, CNN

As the new audience leaves the traditional cable, the main news networks are increasing their presence on YouTube – and the Fox News has grown forward in the digital weapons race.

Fox News has doubled its YouTube performance from the same point last year – with more than 2.3 billion views recorded so far in 2025, according to data from the EMPLIFI Social Analytical Firm.

This growth sets Fox ahead of MSNBC, which led all news networks on YouTube last year and has increased a more modest 27% year by year, reaching 1.9 billion views. CNN continues with 1.1 billion views, with 42% from 2024.

ABC News and NBC News have both got one hit – dropping to 665 million (below 22%) and 703 million (below 12%) views, respectively.

The performance of the three cable news channels on YouTube practically reflects the ratings race on linear television.
