O’Donnell revealed that she left the United States to Ireland out of the “self-preservation” feeling after Trump’s second victory, taking into account the difficulties she experienced after his first victory in 2016.

“During his first round, it was very difficult and I got into some bad places. You know, I was very, very desperate.

She also showed that she hurt her heart to know that Americans “believed in Trump’s lies” and, moreover, that she worked in a business that “sells those lies for profit”.

Another reason O’Donnell listed for the departure from the US was to make sure she could be a “good parent” for her 12-year-old child.
